In the latest reviews available to us, owners describe compassionate handling of end-of-life care (including a euthanasia appointment) and a gentle, reassuring first consultation for a rescue dog. One review describes the opposite experience—an initial lameness visit that they felt was too cursory, with a grass seed issue missed until later, plus frustration that the clinic didn’t follow up after they raised the complaint.

We had been bringing Trixie, our Boston Terrier here for 7 years. She never had any major problems other than some allergies etc. Being a snub nose dog I knew she was prone to heart disease so I always made sure she was active and ate good lean fresh food. She developed MVD late in life (16) and we had to have her put to sleep. LVC were very professional and handled the procedure with care. They had been great throughout her 7 years in London.

Such a kind and helpful first visit with our rescue. Really welcoming front desk and the vet was gentle, clear and reassuring.

I take absolutely no pleasure in giving any business a negative review; however, in this case I feel compelled to because our dog suffered much more harm than he should have due to their gross negligence. We took our dog to this vet (well recommended) because he was limping and we couldn't figure out why. The vet did a brief, cursory examination and told us its likely to just be a small cut and it would heal naturally over time. Nothing happened and his condition was getting worse. Later, we happened to get the vet's email newsletter that warned everybody about grass seeds penetrating dogs' paws and going through their bodies and causing a lot of harm. We were relatively new dog owners and had no idea about grass seeds and how they could be damaging... but nor should we, we are just regular people and not vets. It is the vet's job to check for this stuff, especially when it's in their own newsletter they are telling everyone to be aware of! We simply could not believe the gross negligence that occurred at this vet and how they could not even check for this condition when they knew this was grass seed season, our dog was limping and couldn't put weight on his paw, and there were no clear visible signs of a cut which pointed directly at a grass seed penetrating. It was honestly unbelievable. Of course, in the end, it was a grass seed which had to be lightly surgically removed... if they had just done the initial check, perhaps that wouldn't have been needed at all and they could have just plucked it out immediately. We did address the issue with the vet, as well as with Bruce through email / phone who is the main vet and the owner. We were told they would look into it and get back to us. They have never contacted us again, and given that they appear to have done nothing to learn from this or to even apologize to us about what happened, I felt compelled to write this review so as to warn others about the negligent treatment their believed pets could experience here. Again, I never like being negative about someone's business that they built, but your pet could get hurt here.

Our Vet Bruce is not only a great Doctor but an amazing person, Lou Lou and us are so lucky to have him. Thank you to all the members of the Clinc, so much for taking care of us.
